Ep 725: Actress and Writer Jaclyn Bethany from Under The Lantern Lit Sky

Below The Belt Show (www.belowthebeltshow.com) presents our Spring Season Finale before summer officially starts! Our special guest is actress, director and writer Jaclyn Bethany! Jaclyn will be discussing a film she wrote, produced and starred in, “Under The Lantern Lit Sky” which premiered at the 2021 Brooklyn Film Festival. Jaclyn will talk about the challenges faced with producing a period piece film on an independent level as well as the proverbial wearing many hats during the production on the project. We also talk about how the film’s director Michelle Bossy can relate to the film’s protagonist Blance as someone who discovers that their husband was gay. Jaclyn also discusses working on the Oscar nominated Mank with by David Fincher as well as her other upcoming films that she wrote and directed.
